I lay upon my back, staring upwards at the skies clear, and shining. The grass around me grows wet, with the night's dew. As a cool breeze flies in, I fall asleep. As the darkness of sleep comforts me, I remember the days when I watched the sunset, walking by her side thinking that she'd be with me forever, feeling the cool sand beneath my feet. Together we'd enjoy the rainbowed, skies of the sinking sun. Wed watch the sun sink into the horizon and as the last rays cast a flaming orange upon the skies, We'd see the rise of the moon and stars. Lying upon our backs we'd fall asleep there, carefree and without worry.
